We Set Up Home Dance Studios, Everything Included.

From a single Marley mat on a bedroom floor to a fully fitted studio with sprung flooring, mirrors, barres, lighting, and aircon, we supply and install everything a home dancer needs to train properly. You tell us what you have and what you need. We handle the rest.

Professionally set up home dance studio
We set up home dance studios, as simple or as complete as you need.

Not every home studio looks the same. Some are a spare room that needs a proper dance floor and a wall mirror. Some are a bedroom corner with a Marley mat and a freestanding barre. Some are a dedicated space built and fitted from scratch, floor, mirrors, barres, lighting, aircon, the works.

We do all of it. There's no minimum scope and no fixed package. You tell us what space you have, who will be using it, and what you'd like to set up, and we recommend exactly what's needed and supply it at a quality that will last.

We've been setting up home dance studios across Singapore since 2014. We know what works in an HDB flat, what fits in a condo room, and what a serious training space needs to feel like one.

Everything Your Home Studio Could Ever Need

We supply and install every element of a home dance studio, individually or as a complete fitted space. Each element can be added on its own or as part of a full setup.

Dance Flooring - From a Simple Mat to a Full Sprung System

The floor is the most important thing in any dance studio. We supply and install everything from a single Marley mat laid directly on your existing floor, all the way through to a complete dual-density sprung floor system with a professional Marley surface on top.

Every installation starts with an assessment of what's already there, the condition of the existing floor, the level, and what the space needs. Nothing goes down until we know the base is right.

  • Marley dance mat only - rolls out over any flat hard floor, no installation needed
  • Portable sprung floor panels topped with Marley - for proper shock absorption without permanent work
  • Fully installed sprung floor system - permanent, professional, built to last decades
  • Wide range of Marley colors and finishes to match your space
  • All seams sealed and edges finished for a clean, professional result

Mirrors - Wall-Mounted or on Wheels

A proper mirror makes a home studio feel like a real training space. We supply glassless safety mirrors, lighter and safer than glass, with exactly the same clarity, in two configurations depending on your space and whether you want a permanent installation.

  • Mirror on wheels - large format, rolling frame, reposition anytime, no wall fixings needed
  • Wall-mounted mirror panels - fixed from floor to ceiling, frameless joins for a studio finish
  • Glassless safety mirror - shatter-resistant, true undistorted reflection
  • Available in single panel or full-wall coverage depending on room size
  • Professional bonding and edge finishing on all wall-mounted installations

Ballet Barres - Freestanding or Wall-Mounted

We supply barres in both freestanding and wall-mounted configurations - the right choice depends on whether you want a permanent fixture or the flexibility to move it. Both options are professional quality, rated for daily serious use, and available in single or double bar setups.

  • Freestanding portable barre - weighted base, fold-flat storage, adjustable height
  • Wall-mounted barre - heavy-duty structural fixings, completely solid during use
  • Single or double bar configuration based on your training needs
  • Height set for your primary age group - children's, adult, or dual-height
  • Wood or aluminum finish to match your studio aesthetic

Studio Lighting - Even, Flattering, and Glare-Free

Most homes aren't lit for dance. Overhead domestic lights create shadows in the wrong places, make mirrors look harsh, and make it harder to see proper alignment. We design and install LED studio lighting that gives you even coverage across the whole floor - no shadow zones, no glare on the mirror surface.

Lighting positions are always coordinated with mirror placement - a detail that makes a real difference to how the finished studio feels.

  • LED panels or recessed downlights - chosen based on ceiling type and height
  • Color temperature selected for flattering, accurate light on skin and costume
  • Even floor coverage with no dead zones across the training area
  • Positioned specifically to avoid glare on mirror surfaces
  • Dimmer-compatible where the circuit allows
Air conditioning in home dance studio
05 ❄️ Climate

Air Conditioning - Sized for a Dancer, Not an Office

A dancer generates far more body heat than someone sitting at a desk. Standard residential aircon calculations don't account for this, which is why so many home studios overheat within the first fifteen minutes of a class. We size and install aircon systems specifically for the heat load of active dance training, keeping your studio at 20–24°C throughout even the most intensive sessions.

  • Sized for the body heat load of dancing - not just the room dimensions
  • Positioned to distribute air evenly without blowing directly onto the floor
  • Selected for low noise operation - music and instruction always carry clearly
  • Placed away from mirror walls to prevent condensation and fogging
  • Inverter-grade efficiency for all-day use without excessive running costs

Home Studios We Set Up Every Week

Every home studio we set up is different, because every dancer, every parent, and every home is different. Here's who we work with most often.

👧

Parents Setting Up for Their Child

Your child is serious about dance and you want to support that properly, without turning your whole home upside down. We help parents set up the right space at the right scale: a proper dance mat, a barre at the right height, and a mirror that lets your child train with intention between classes.

Everything can start small and grow as your child does. A mat and barre today, a sprung floor and wall mirror when they're ready for more.

Any room size Child-height barres Grows with them

Adult Dancers Training at Home

You're past the point where a mat on the living room floor is enough. You want a space that feels like a studio; a proper floor that protects your joints, a mirror that lets you correct properly, a barre that doesn't move when you actually use it.

We set up home studios for adult dancers across every discipline; ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, commercial; and every level from returning dancers to serious daily practitioners.

Dance Coaches Teaching from Home

You teach private lessons or small groups and your students deserve an environment that matches your teaching standard. We set up home studios for coaches that work properly as teaching spaces; enough floor area, the right mirror coverage, a barre that handles multiple students, and a temperature that stays comfortable through back-to-back sessions.

No studio lease, no overhead; just a proper space in your home.

From Your First Message to Your First Class

Setting up a home studio with us is straightforward. Here's exactly how it goes.

01
You Reach Out

Tell Us About Your Space

Share your room dimensions, who will be using the studio, what disciplines you train in, and roughly what you're looking to set up; floor only, full studio, or anything in between. Photos of the space help a lot.

Don't worry if you're not sure what you need yet, that's exactly what the conversation is for.
02
We Advise

We Recommend What's Right

Based on your space and your goals, we'll recommend exactly what to set up; products, specifications, and configuration. We'll also let you know if there's anything about the room we'd want to check in person before anything is confirmed.

Our recommendations are always based on what's actually right for your setup, not what's most expensive.
03
We Supply

Products Delivered to You

For portable setups - a Marley mat, a freestanding barre, a wheeled mirror, we deliver everything to your door and it's ready to use the same day. No installation needed, no tradespeople, no waiting.

Most portable setups are delivered within a few days and take under 30 minutes to have up and ready.
04
We Install

Full Installations Done Properly

For fitted elements - sprung floors, wall mirrors, fixed barres, lighting, aircon, we schedule an installation. Most home studio installations are completed in 2–5 working days depending on scope. Your studio is ready to use the day we hand over.

We clean up completely after every installation. You walk into a finished studio, not a worksite.

The Things That Make the Difference Between Good and Great

After setting up hundreds of home studios, we know the details that matter; and the ones that are easy to overlook. Here's what we always get right.

The Floor & Surface
Subfloor condition checked first

Whatever goes on top performs better when the base is properly assessed and prepared. We never skip this step.

Right Marley for the right discipline

Ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, each style has a surface that works best for it. We match the mat to the movement.

Seams sealed, edges clean

A properly finished floor has no trip hazards, no lifting edges, and no visible joins. Every installation we do is finished to that standard.

Shock absorption where it matters

For any dancer training jumps, turns, or high-impact work daily, a sprung system makes a meaningful difference to how the body holds up over time.

The Setup & Environment
Mirror at the right height and position

A mirror that's too high, too low, or placed where the light hits it wrong defeats the purpose. We position mirrors to actually work for the dancer using them.

Barre at the right height for the dancer

A barre at the wrong height creates bad habits. We set it for the primary user, and at dual heights if the studio will be used by both children and adults.

Aircon that handles the heat load of dancing

One active dancer generates the same heat as several people sitting still. We size the system for what the room is actually doing, not what it looks like on paper.

Lighting and mirrors coordinated

Lights that cause glare on the mirror surface are one of the most common home studio problems. We eliminate it by planning both together from the start.

Questions We Hear Before Every Home Studio Setup

Here are the things people most often want to know before they reach out to us.

Do I need a full setup or can I just get one thing?
You can get as little or as much as you need. We supply single Marley mats, single barres, single mirrors, or a complete studio with everything. There's no minimum scope. A lot of our home studio customers start with a mat and a barre and add to it over time as they see what the space is missing.
What's the smallest space a home studio can work in?
We've fitted studios in rooms as small as 2.5m × 2.5m. At that size you can fit a proper dance mat, a barre, and a mirror, enough for a serious barre practice and basic center work. The smaller the space, the more important it is to plan the layout carefully, which is something we help with before anything is ordered.
Can you set up a studio in an HDB flat?
Yes, many of the home studios we set up are in HDB flats. Portable setups (mat, freestanding barre, wheeled mirror) require no approval at all. For permanent installations (wall mirrors, fixed barres, sprung floors), the work falls within standard interior renovation and most HDB buildings allow it with the usual contractor and noise-time requirements. We're familiar with Singapore residential rules and factor them into every recommendation.
Is a portable setup or a permanent installation better?
It depends on your situation. A portable setup is ideal if you don't want permanent changes to the room, if you're renting, or if the room needs to serve other purposes. A permanent installation is better if the room is dedicated to dance and you want a space that's always ready, performs at the highest level, and feels like a real studio every time you walk in. We help you work out which is right based on how you live and how you train, not on what's more profitable for us to sell.
How long does it take to set everything up?
Portable items, a Marley mat, freestanding barre, or wheeled mirror, are delivered and ready to use within a few days of your order, and take under 30 minutes to set up. Permanent installations (sprung floor, wall mirrors, fixed barres, lighting, aircon) are typically completed in 2–5 working days depending on scope. We give you a precise timeline before we start.
Can I order products and install them myself?
Portable products - Marley mats, freestanding barres, wheeled mirrors, require no installation and arrive ready to use. For permanent elements like wall mirrors, fixed barres, sprung floors, lighting, and aircon, we always recommend professional installation to ensure everything is done safely, correctly, and to the standard that our product warranties require. Self-installation on those items can affect both performance and warranty coverage.
