Tailoring Service – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all custom tailoring, alteration, consultation, and related services provided by Free Movement Dance Solutions. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Order Confirmation

All tailoring orders must be confirmed in writing via email, message, or official quotation. Orders are only considered secured once full payment has been received or official institutional payment processing has been confirmed.

2. Payments Policy

  • We do not accept deposits. Full payment is required before production begins.
  • For government agencies or schools, payment may be processed via official government portals (e.g. vendors@gov) or approved school payment systems.
  • Production will only commence upon payment confirmation or official institutional purchase order approval.

3. Design & Reference Policy

Free Movement Dance Solutions does not copy or replicate designs from other brands, designers, or reference images.

  • Any images, sketches, or inspiration photos submitted by clients are treated strictly as reference material only.
  • Final costumes will not be 100% replicas of reference images.
  • All costumes are interpreted and created in our own design style and craftsmanship approach.

4. Measurements & Fitting Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate measurements.

If you are unsure about how to measure correctly, kindly contact us for assistance via WhatsApp at +65 8044 8419 before submission.

Free Movement Dance Solutions is not liable for fitting issues resulting from incorrect measurements submitted by the client.

  • Measurement errors may result in additional alteration charges.
  • Virtual/remote orders require precise measurement submission.
  • Failure to follow the size guide may affect final garment fit.

5. Design Approval

All design elements including sketches, fabric selection, embellishments, and colors must be approved before production begins. Once approved, major design changes may incur additional costs and extended timelines.

6. Production Timeline

  • Standard production timelines will be stated in your quotation.
  • Rush orders may incur additional charges.
  • Delays caused by incomplete information or late approvals may affect delivery timelines.

7. Alterations Policy

Alterations require approximately 2–3 weeks depending on workload and complexity.

  • Minor fitting adjustments must be requested within 7 days of receiving the costume.
  • Additional alterations outside original specifications may incur extra charges.
  • Timeline may vary during peak performance or competition seasons.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Custom-made costumes are non-refundable once production has begun.
  • If cancellation occurs before production, administrative fees may apply.
  • Completed custom costumes are strictly non-refundable.

9. Fabric & Material Variations

Due to supplier availability, slight variations in fabric shade, texture, or embellishment materials may occur. We strive to maintain design integrity while ensuring quality standards.

10. Shipping & Delivery

  • Clients are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.
  • Shipping fees are calculated separately unless stated otherwise.
  • We are not liable for courier delays, customs clearance delays, or damages during transit.

11. Care & Maintenance

Clients are responsible for proper costume care after collection. We recommend gentle hand washing or professional cleaning depending on costume type. Damage caused by improper washing or storage is not covered.

12. Intellectual Property

All original designs created by Free Movement Dance Solutions remain our intellectual property. Reproduction, replication, or resale without written permission is prohibited.

13. Limitation of Liability

Free Movement Dance Solutions shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from costume use, performance conditions, or third-party alterations.

14. Agreement

By confirming your order and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
