Welcome to Free Movement Dance Solutions — where freedom, movement, and creativity come together. Our Bukit Merah dance studios operate on a 24/7 self-service model, giving you total flexibility to dance on your own terms.

As there will be no staff onsite during your session, please read this guide in full to ensure smooth access, respectful use, and a safe, enjoyable experience.

🔑 1. Getting Into the Studios

Our Bukit Merah studios are accessible via the LIFT LOBBY INSIDE THE CARPARK ONLY. PLEASE TAKE LIFT TO LEVEL 5 AND WALK UP TO LEVEL 6.

📩 Step 1: Access Code

  • You’ll receive a Reminder Email 1 hour before your booking.
  • This email contains your access code for the key lock box.

🔓 Step 2: Unlock the Door

  1. Go to the door of the dance studio you have booked, there are 8 dance studios, so please ensure to check which studio you have booked. Locate the key lock holder on the wall.
  2. Turn the number dials to your access code.
  3. Gently pull the lock box flap towards you to access the key.
  4. Use the key to unlock the door.
  5. Immediately return the key to the lock box, close the lid, and scramble the numbers.
🔒 You do not need the key again when exiting — just make sure to lock the door from inside.

👟 2. Studio Shoe Policy

We strictly enforce a clean floor policy to keep the studio dance-ready for everyone.

✅ Allowed Shoes

  • Ballet shoes, jazz shoes, tap shoes, lyrical shoes, dance heels, foot thongs.

⚠️ Outdoor Shoes Used for Dancing

  • Must be thoroughly cleaned using the cleaning supplies provided before stepping in.
  • $25 cleaning fee per person applies if skipped.

❌ Outdoor Shoes Otherwise NOT ALLOWED

  • Street/outdoor shoes not intended for dance are strictly not allowed inside.
    → Remove and leave them outside.
    → $25 cleaning fee per person will apply if not followed.

💡 3. On Arrival

  • Turn on lights in the common area.
  • Central air-conditioning is operational on weekdays 8.30am to 6.30pm and 8am to 1pm on saturdays. Outside of central air-conditioning time, adjust our air conditioning to your comfort.

🔊 4. Studio Features & Equipment

🎵 Audio

  • Bluetooth speaker available in each studio
  • Connection instructions are posted on the wall
  • Please disconnect ("Forget Device") after use

🪟 Curtains

  • Draw them for privacy
  • Reopen them after your session ends

🧼 Cleaning Supplies

  • Sanitizer wipes and Floor Wipes
  • Broom, flat mop, vacuum

🚻 5. Facilities at Bukit Merah

  • Washroom available on Levels A, B, C & 3.
  • First-aid kit available near main entrance.

🥤 Refreshments & Rentals

  • Drinks and snacks: from $1 each
  • Phone stand rental: $2 per session

💵 Payment

  • Pay via PayNow / PayLah! — QR code available on site

📦 Lost & Found

  • Located in the common area near main entrance
  • Check before leaving if you've misplaced anything

🤸 Community Equipment

Feel free to borrow during your session:

  • Yoga mats
  • Yoga blocks

→ Please sanitize and return neatly after use

🚪 7. End-of-Session Checklist

🧹 Clean & Reset

  • Return all borrowed items to original spots
  • Open curtains if you had closed them
  • Return phone stands to original location
  • Clean up any mess or spills

🔌 Power Off

  • Turn off: → Studio lights → Air-con → Audio devices
  • Disconnect your phone from Bluetooth

🔒 Locking Up

  • From inside the door, press the lock button, then gently push the door closed behind you. There is no need to reopen the lock box
