Graduated from Purchase College, Conservatory of Dance in New York, Ching Ting teaches dance to students of various age groups, inclusive of special needs students. Her field of teaching includes Creative Movement, Ethnic Fusion Dance, Ballet and Modern /Contemporary Dance. She has also acquired experience and knowledge off stage in Dance Production as a Stage Manager in Singapore and in New York.
A versatile individual, she works well with a team of individuals from various nationalities who share her passion and interests. She had worked with renowned choreographers and practitioners at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore, Purchase College in New York USA. She brings into the arts field her experience, knowledge and practical skills through hard-work, a willingness-to-try attitude and creative style of training.
Since 2014, Ching Ting has been actively involved with Ageless Theatre (AT), a non-profit theatre group for the seniors and has worked on the group’s productions in various capacity such as movement choreography and stage management. Besides volunteering at St Luke’s Eldercare (Ayer Rajah Centre) with AT, she has conducted sharing session/ workshops for caregivers and persons with dementia in Enabling Festival 2018 and 2019.
